Extreme Measures 3

After reading a few more chapters in this great book. I have come to realize just how sick Mitch Rapp is. He really does not care what all the politicians think of him back in Washington D.C. They explained to the prisoners held captive at the Air Force base that Rapp is questioning that they will be treated humanly and will not be hurt. Also, they will be fed regularly and sleep on decent beds. Rapp has come to the conclusion that if you do not use excessive violence with theses terrorist, they are not going to say anything. The terrorists themselves study the untied states and know all about theses rule. So they know if they do not speak no harm will be brought upon them. In Rapp's interrogations of terrorists he does not follow any of the rules that the politicians have set. He will do anything until the terrorist speaks. That is exactly what he is trying to do in the book right now. His friend, Mike Nash, has told him to try and not leave any marks so the Air Force people will not notice afterwards, but that did not last very long. The terrorist was simply not cooperating so he had to make things violent. And to make things worse the terrorist was a spitter.
